Overview:

Join us this Carers Rights Day for an interactive afternoon exploring what life can really be like for people juggling work and unpaid caring responsibilities.

The Centre for Care at the University of Sheffield will be bringing along their fantastic life-size 4m x 4m interactive board game. Players step into the shoes of an unpaid carer and make their way around the board, experiencing some of the barriers and challenges carers can face along the way.

We’ll also have a panel of experts joining us to share their experiences, answer questions and get the conversation going.

The event is perfect for employers, managers, HR teams, wellbeing leads and anyone interested in supporting working carers.

Come along, have a go at the game, visit the stalls, meet others and leave with a better understanding of how we can make workplaces more supportive for carers.
