An invite-only afternoon of competitive padel at Big Box Padel Club.

What is the Founders Cup?

Get to the net proudly presents the Founders Cup, in partnership with DJH (https://www.djh.co.uk/). An invite-only takeover of BigBox for an afternoon of competitive padel, good company, and proper celebrations afterwards. This is our first ever tournament – set to become a quarterly flagship fixture – and it’s a big one, spanning all nine courts at the famed sports facility. You'll start with 90 minutes of padel – bandejas, viboras, and glass-wall recoveries all fair game – before heading to the mezzanine for pizza, drinks, and a humble (or not-so-humble) post-match debrief.

📅 Friday 16 October

🕛 Arrival 3:30pm–4pm | On court 4pm–5:30pm | Mezzanine from 5:30pm

📍 BigBox Padel Club, Wakefield Rd, Tandem, Huddersfield, HD5 0AL

⚠️ Limited to a hand selected 36 players

The Founders Cup format

This is King/Queen of the court. Forget fixed partners and single opponents – you'll play your way across every court against a rotating field, climbing the ranks as you win and fighting your way back if you don't. By the end of the session, one court sits above the rest, and there are prizes waiting for whoever's standing on it. However, there can only be one winner. The top-scoring player will lift the Founders Cup and hold bragging rights until the next installment, where they'll have to defend their title against a fresh field.

All abilities are welcome to the Founders Cup. This isn't about who's the strongest or longest-standing player – it's about who brings their A-game on the day. So, whether you're a padel regular or picking up a racquet for the first time, come and see what happens.

Who’s on the guest list?

This one's an invite-only event. Every individual on the guest list has been hand-selected by the Get to the net team, because we want it to feel like time well spent out of your schedule. As we know, the best conversations often happen when there are shared challenges and opportunities to discuss. So, if you’re here, we hope you feel like a true VIP.

Ready for the first serve?

This is the first Founders Cup we’ve ever run at Get to the net, and we're building it to last – a quarterly fixture where the healthy competition only grows sharper by the session. Getting in early means being part of it from round one, whether you’re keen to lift the cup yourself or simply want to meet as many likeminded professionals as possible.

We can’t wait for you to join us.
