A 2-hour bike maintenance course aiming to give you the skills you need to carry out adjustments and small fixes on your own bike.

Want to know how to fix your bike for free? Bit unsure on how to make simple adjustments? Would you like to learn how to change your innertube if you get a puncture?

Then come and join us for a FREE 2-hour bike maintenance workshop where you’ll learn how to check whether your bike is safe to ride, how to adjust brake blocks and cable tension and how to remove the rear wheel and replace the tube to repair a puncture.

Workshop at: The FOCAL Centre, New Hey Road, Oakes, Huddersfield, HD3 4DD

Feel free to bring your own bike to have a go on, but this is not complusory.

EPIKS Walk Wheel Ride programme is working to make it simpler, safer and more accessible for everyone in the district to choose walking, wheeling and riding as part of their everyday journeys. We want to help more people choose active travel more often for their local journeys. We hope our bike maintenance will give you the confidence to make some adjustments yourself and get back on your bike again.
