Or perhaps you have avoided AI because you are not sure whether you can trust the answers, what information is safe to put into it or where it would actually save you any time. Throughout the day, we’ll use your own business to explore where AI could genuinely help. What we’ll cover We’ll begin by taking away some of the mystery around AI. You’ll explore: what AI can — and cannot — realistically do what tools such as ChatGPT actually do where AI can be useful in a small business where its limitations sit how to identify tasks where AI could save you time how to communicate with AI more effectively how to create better prompts for your own business how to improve weak, generic or unhelpful AI responses how to check AI-generated information rather than accepting it automatically Making AI useful for your own business Rather than practising with generic examples, you’ll look at your own workload and identify areas where AI could genuinely help. We’ll work on prompting, improving outputs and using AI for activities such as: planning emails ideas customer communication research administration first drafts The aim is not to make you a prompt engineer. It is to help you get better, more useful results without wasting your time. Work on your own business This is not a day of simply watching AI demonstrations. You’ll use your own business as the case study throughout the course. You’ll identify the work that is taking up your time, experiment with practical prompts and begin deciding where AI could help you work more efficiently. We’ll look at questions such as: What takes you too long? What do you keep rewriting? What jobs do you regularly put off? Where could AI help you get started faster? Where could it support your existing work? What you’ll create During the day, you’ll create practical resources you can continue using afterwards, including: AI Opportunity List Areas of your business where AI could potentially support you or save time. Reusable Prompts Prompts designed around tasks you actually complete in your business. Time Drain Review A practical review of the work that is taking up your time and where AI may be able to help.
