About This Event

Mothers' Voices Matter Week will focus on perinatal mental wellbeing at the Daphne Steele Building in Huddersfield on 16 November 2026. The event aims to highlight real experiences and promote lasting change in mental health support for mothers. Attendance is free.

Real Voices. Real Experiences. From Lived Experience to lasting change!

Join us for the launch of Mothers' Voices Matter Week, a series of events dedicated to listening to, learning from, and amplifying the voices of mothers in the perinatal period.

From sharing experiences and building connections to influencing how services are designed and delivered, this week is all about creating meaningful change through lived experience. We welcome all mothers who are pregnant or have a child under two years old, with a particular focus on hearing from Black and Asian mothers whose voices are often underrepresented.

Together, we can strengthen support, improve services, and build a more inclusive future for mothers and families.
