A creative hairbrush painting workshop helping children explore self-care, build confidence and learn positive wellbeing skills.

A creative, relaxing workshop designed to give children a safe and supportive space to express themselves, be creative and explore simple wellbeing skills.

Led by a Children’s Mental Health Nurse, this workshop combines creativity with gentle conversations and activities around self-care, confidence and positive self-esteem.

Children will have the opportunity to:

✨ Paint and personalise their own wooden hairbrush

🌸 Explore simple self-care practices

💛 Build confidence and self-esteem

🌱 Develop a kinder, more positive view of themselves

💬 Share ideas about looking after their wellbeing

🎨 Enjoy a relaxing and creative experience in a supportive environment

The session is designed to be fun, creative and child-friendly, with no artistic experience needed.

Location: Weavers Shed, Golcar

Date: Saturday 10th October

Time: 1:00–2:00pm

Price: £15 per child

Parents/carers ~ parents and carers are welcome to stay or leave their young person for the session and return at the collection time. Children under 8 years- parents must remain in the building however are welcome to grab a drink downstairs.

Places are limited, so advance booking is essential.
