Resonance is Wichita’s annual regional Burning Man event, held each September in Kansas, where artists, makers, performers, and curious adventurers come together to build a temporary community centered on art, radical self-expression, participation, and connection. At its heart, Resonance is deeply art and expression centric, encouraging participants to bring immersive installations, sculptures, performances, costumes, music, movement, workshops, and interactive creations that transform the landscape into a living gallery of imagination. Every corner of the event offers opportunities to experience bold creativity, personal storytelling, collaborative experimentation, and unexpected moments of wonder. Not a festival, Resonance is a participatory space where attendees are invited to contribute their own voice, vision, and artistic energy, helping create an unforgettable weekend filled with inspiration, community, and magic.
