Words & songs of community & celebration, winter & wonder...

Looking for a winter event with a different twist? Something to make you feel festive but without the carols you hear all the time? Then join Far Cry and Holmfirth Writers' Group for a weaving together of songs and words which will warm your heart and stir your soul.... harmonies from around the world, and original poems and prose. Make it your new festive tradition!

Far Cry, a mixed Acapella group from Huddersfield, brings its own very special take on the festive season, all performed through uplifting harmonies. Songs will be interspersed with atmospheric and thought-provoking prose and poetry performed by members of Holmfirth Writers’ Group.

There will be a bar and raffle on the night and mince pies/cake for sale. All profits support Slaithwaite Moonraking Festival.
