A stunning Sunday morning wintery walk and social gather in the beautiful Holme Valley

The Walk

Come together with us to walk the beautiful rolling hills of the Holme Valley, connect with nature, like-minded good folk and enjoy the season of wrapping up, getting out and feeling great!

This guided walk will start in Holmfirth centre, meeting outside Holme Coffee House and taking us up onto the hills around the Holme Valley. We'll walk through fields, woodland, small villages and the nooks and crannnies that make up this beautiful please we call Holm.

The walk is approximately 7 miles across footpaths on hilly terrain. This would be classed as a moderate level walk. We will be out on the hills for around 3-4hrs. As always come prepared for the winter weather and terrain, bringing snacks and hydration for your walk.

Post walk Social & lunch

Lunch is not included on this walk. We will stop on the walk so do feel free to bring a packed lunch and snacks. We will be returning to Holmfirth for a social gathering at a cafe bar. This is optional and the venue may not have food. There are plenty brilliant places to eat in Holmfirth which we can advise on.

Rendezvous, parking & getting there

Rendezvous - 10:00AM meet - 10:30AM DEPART

Our meeting point is outside Holme Coffee House, Crown Bottom Carpark, Holmfirth.

Parking is available in Crown Bottom carpark.
