This tour is based on the Community Waterscapes (https://www.hull.ac.uk/research/projects/community-waterscapes) project from the Energy and Environment Institute of the University of Hull. Walking around the old town we will stop by streets, monuments and landscapes that have been significant for people living by the rivers Hull and Humber. A lot of the stories of the tour will be based on the Community Waterscapes digital storymap (https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/837437867e1546a4b07e140318087cf8)and they will be accompanied by historical photographs and archival material.
The tour will last for approximately 1 hour.
We will start at the Hepworth Arcade, at the Water Memories, Flood Futures exhibition (Units 20-22), and finish at the Hull Marina.
