An ascending ladder bench press and deadlift competition at Peak Physique Gym, Hull.

Competitors choose their opening weight and work through progressively heavier lifts. Once you've entered the ladder, every subsequent weight must be attempted.

HOW IT WORKS

Men's and women's bench press and deadlift ladders

1 attempt per weight

Failed lift = elimination

Heaviest successful lift wins

Last remaining lifters can nominate their next weight
