Untethered: Cord Cutting and New Paths is scheduled for 19 November 2026 at 19:00 in Hessle. This event focuses on a ritual of releasing outside influences and reclaiming personal energy. Participants will explore methods to let go of draining connections and embrace new beginnings.
An evening of cord cutting with thread and fire: find where your energy is going, take back what’s yours and leave on a new path.
A ritual of untethering from outside influence and calling your power home.
Most of us know what it is to feel worn down by a person or a situation, and we assume the answer is just to cut them off. But the cords that drain us are usually the places where our own energy keeps pouring out and never comes back: the roles we didn’t choose, the expectations we’re still carrying, the old patterns handed down from the women before us.
And if there is someone in your life whose presence has become heavy, someone you are ready to let go of, this evening is for you too. When you pull your energy back from a person who has been draining it, their hold on you loosens, and very often they begin to drift out of your world on their own.
As winter draws in, this is an evening to look honestly at where your power has been going and reclaim it. We will use thread, intention and fire to ground and mirror the energy work taking place. You will learn what energetic cords actually are, locate your own, and discern when a tie is truly ready to break.
Working with natural cord, you will bind and concentrate the energy you are ready to sever. Then you will cut the tie, draw your power back into your own field, and return what isn’t yours to the flames.
Before you leave, you will anchor a new, clear energetic boundary to carry forward, alongside a practice you can use on your own whenever you feel a drain returning. You will leave knowing how to tend your own energy.
