As well as his solo work, O'Kane is known for his work in the duo Shona Kipling & Damien O'Kane, in Damien O'Kane & Ron Block, and with the band Flook. His first solo album, “Summer Hill”, was released on 5 April 2010, working with musicians such as Kate Rusby, Ian Carr, Dave Kosky, John Joe Kelly and Michael McGoldrick.
