Hooley at the Hall features live performances from local musicians at Cannich Hall. The event is held to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer UK charity. Pricing details are available on the official website.
Get ready for a great night out in Cannich, in support of a really good cause. We are a group of local musicians, and we will be putting on a Hooley at the Hall - Live Music to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer UK charity.
Hooley at the Hall will be an evening of songs and music presented by John, Tristram and Friends. Everything from traditional Folk tunes, Country and Americana, through to Blues and Rock & Roll. Lively tunes to get your feet tapping, favourites that everyone can sing along to and, to round off the evening, a set of golden-oldie Rock & Roll classics to get you up on your feet and jiving.
Along the way we will be selling freshly cooked burgers from our outdoor BBQ and, of course, providing a raffle with some great prizes donated by local organisations.
Bring your own bottle.
All proceeds from ticket sales, raffle and barbeque sales will go to Prostate Cancer UK. Please buy a ticket and come along to Cannich Hall to lend your support to this brilliant charity.
Under 18s are welcome, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Band members John and Tristram have both been treated for prostate cancer over the past two years and are now in remission. They want to show their gratitude by raising money for Prostate Cancer UK. This charity funds the research behind advances in prostate cancer treatment by the NHS and provides advice and support to all men who are affected by the disease. Prostate cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, with more than 64,000 new cases recorded in 2022. Early detection and treatment can be a life-saver.
The band want to say a big Thank You to all the people who are donating their time to help make this event a success, and to acknowledge the kind support of Soirbheas.
