The Shield Wall - Join the Warband event allows visitors to develop their warrior skills in a 30-minute training session at Sutton Hoo in Ipswich.

Develop your warrior skills in an exciting 30-minute warrior training session at Sutton Hoo. Meet our Anglo-Saxon warriors who will teach you shield and sword techniques, ready to join the king's warband!

This activity is free with site admission. Book for the activity here (one ticket per participant) and pay for admission on the day. Admission is free for National Trust members. Suitable for ages 6 - 12, children must be supervised at all times.
