The Funky Easel is a relaxed Sip & Paint experience designed to help you switch off, have fun, and surprise yourself with what you can create — even if you've never picked up a paintbrush before.

This October, we'll be painting The Raven's Garden — an atmospheric autumn piece inspired by the quiet beauty of Scandinavian forests, with a majestic raven perched amongst winter blooms and rich seasonal tones. Mysterious without being spooky, it's the perfect way to embrace the magic of autumn.

Whether you come with friends or venture along on your own, you'll leave with a painting you'll be proud to hang in your home long after Halloween has passed.

The venue is open all day, so you're welcome to arrive early for food or drinks before we begin (or stay afterwards and make an evening of it).

You'll be guided step-by-step by Becca (that's me 👋), a professional artist, in a relaxed, encouraging way, with plenty of one-to-one help throughout the evening.

Across Scandinavian folklore, the raven is often seen as a symbol of wisdom, resilience, and seeing the world from a different perspective. Combined with soft winter blooms and gentle autumn colours, this painting captures the quieter side of the season—thoughtful, cosy and just a little bit magical.

Don't worry if you've never painted before. I'll break everything down into simple, achievable steps so you can relax, enjoy the process, and watch your painting come to life.
