About This Event

Autumn at Oxburgh features various activities at the Oxburgh Estate in Kings Lynn. These include the Everyday histories trail, drawing around the house or estate, and sketching sessions. Admission is required.

There is lots to do at Oxburgh this Autumn. Follow the Everyday histories trail, pick up a drawing bag around the house or Estate, join a sketching session in the house, or enjoy the harvest produce in the outdoors.

Discover the stories and lives of 3 members of Estate staff, who lived and worked here in the 20th Century in the Gardens and the House. Follow their story trails on one of 3 routes around the Gardens.

Take a moment in the Kitchen Garden to explore the produce grown at Oxburgh and see what’s ready for harvest at this time of year.

Have a go at sketching parts of the Esther Tapestry, or the Molyneux-Seel portraits restored by the National Trust, or specially selected items from the collection in bookable still-life sessions as part of the Big Draw 2026.

After you have enjoyed Oxburgh in its seasonal colour, head to the tearoom to recharge with a choice of homemade cakes and comforting treats.
