An evening of poetry reading in the churchyard and a concert by Prague-based pianist Patricia Goodson, to mark the Feast Day of All Saints

Inspired by the church autumn festivals of ‘Allhallowtide’, Words and Music for All Saints' Day will begin with reflective poetry readings curated by Professor Ros Ballaster, lit by lantern and candlelight in the churchyard (weather permitting). After a warming drink and canapés, a concert of contemplative and soothing piano music from Prague-based pianist Patricia Goodson will follow, with a mixture of music from Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů, Brahms, Debussy, Rosy Wertheim, Greig and Chopin, plus a work by Scottish-Czech composer Geraldine Thomson Mucha. An inspiring evening celebrating a much-loved parish church on its own Feast Day, helping to raise funds for its future.
