An evening of folk music in a cozy living room in northeast Lancaster City

Crow and the Mermaid, comprised of Eric and Kim Weit, are a dynamic musical duo from Lancaster County. After over a decade with the old-time group Dillweed, they embraced their own name, inspired by a song Eric wrote for their wedding. Kim, dubbed the Mermaid by her father’s encouragement, plays upright bass, while Eric, hailed as the Crow by his son, performs on clawhammer banjo, ukulele, and button accordion. Their shows blend old-time, folk, and punk rock into high-energy performances that keep audiences engaged. Catch them with Dillweed, Chalk Board Conspiracy, or as Crow and the Mermaid, where they also passionately support charitable causes.

What's a house concert? Neighbors, music aficionados, and friends (old & new) join to create a comfy, respectful listening atmosphere. Suggested donation is $10+ if you can, but Music on the Map is always pay-what-you-will with all donations directly supporting the musical artist. Please don't let a dollar amount stop you from coming.

The address (in Northeast Lancaster City) & parking instructions will be sent to attendees prior to the concert.

Concert starts at 7:00pm with an optional potluck starting at 6:00pm. Early arrivals get the best seats, since space is limited. Please reserve a seat for each guest.
