3pm Selects is our grassroots platform built to put emerging DJs, producers and artists at the forefront.

Running bi-weekly parties, Selects creates a regular space for new and developing talent to play, connect and grow in front of a proper crowd, backed by the wider 3pm Records community.

At its core, Selects exists to give talented people meaningful opportunities. Not just a name on a line-up, but a genuine platform to develop as an artist, meet other people within the scene, build confidence behind the decks and become part of a wider creative community.

We know how difficult it can be for new artists to break through when so much of club culture is driven by existing profiles, follower counts and previous bookings. Selects is designed to push against that. The focus is on the music, the individual and the potential, creating opportunities for people who deserve to be heard but may not yet have had the chance to prove themselves.

Each party brings together a new selection of DJs, producers and artists alongside the 3pm community, with line-ups built around discovery rather than hierarchy. Whether someone is playing one of their first proper sets or beginning to establish themselves across the city, the aim is to provide a space where they can take the next step.

The bi-weekly format is an important part of that. Selects is not intended to be an occasional showcase, but a consistent platform that artists and audiences can become part of. By creating regular opportunities, we want to help build momentum around emerging talent while developing a community of people who genuinely care about discovering new music and supporting the people making and playing it.

Backed by 3pm Records, Selects also sits within something bigger than the parties themselves. As the wider 3pm project continues to grow across events, releases and artist development, Selects acts as an entry point into that ecosystem, giving emerging artists the opportunity to build relationships, share music and potentially progress into future 3pm events, releases and projects.

The goal is simple: put grassroots talent at the forefront, create opportunities that actually matter and build a platform where the next wave of DJs, producers and artists can develop on their own merit.

For us, Selects is as much about building a community as it is about putting on parties. It is about creating the kind of platform we would have wanted when we were starting out, then using the 3pm Records community to open that door for the people coming next.
