Create your own personal Healing Bag with herbs, nature and words from the heart.

Join Cathy Presto from The Remedy Box, author of 'Grief as a Sacred Path', for a relaxed and sensory creative morning exploring some of the small things that can help bring comfort, help us feel grounded and help with caring for ourselves.

During this gentle, hands-on workshop, you’ll create and decorate your own personal Healing Bag, using simple stitching, fabric, ribbon, buttons or pens — no sewing or craft experience is needed.

As the morning unfolds, you’ll explore crystal palm stones, herbs, flower essences and frankincense, choosing the things that have meaning for you to place inside your bag. You’ll also discover Cathy’s Whispers of Light, choose one to keep and create your own personal Whisper, a few words from the heart to carry with you.

We’ll enjoy Linden & Rose Comfort Tea together, with a small sachet for you to take home alongside your finished creation.

Creative activities can offer a gentle way of supporting ourselves through grief and bereavement. When it can be difficult to put feelings into words, working with our hands and choosing objects, colours and words that hold personal meaning can create space for reflection, remembrance and connection.

Your Healing Bag might become a place for something that reminds you of a loved one, something that brings comfort on a difficult day, or simply a collection of things that help you reconnect with your heart, strength and the present moment.

This workshop is suitable for anyone who has experienced bereavement, whether recently or many years ago, as well as those supporting someone who is grieving. You are welcome to join a morning of creativity, reflection and gentle self-care.

There is no expectation to talk about your personal experiences or share anything with the group. You can simply come, create, enjoy the company of others and make something meaningful to take home.

All materials are provided and no previous experience is necessary. Flower essences can be ordered on request
