We are delighted to be able to offer our Cancer In The Workplace sessions to businesses from across Yorkshire.

Over 500,000 people work with cancer across the UK. This number is expected to double by 2030.

We are delighted to be able to offer our Cancer In The Workplace sessions to businesses from across Yorkshire. This free, face-to-face workshop will be held at Maggie's Yorkshire and will equip employers with the relevant skills, knowledge and understanding to effectively support colleagues affected by cancer.

This Cancer In The Workplace workshop can help HR, Line Managers and colleagues to better understand:

- The emotional, physical and psychological needs of people with cancer

- The impact of cancer on family, carers and friends

- Challenges in the workplace for people with cancer

- How to approach situations with knowledge, empathy and understanding

- Communicating with people with cancer in the workplace

- Managing a return to work

Attending the session is free, but as we are a charity, we would be hugely grateful if you would consider making a donation to our centre if more than one person is booking from the same business.
