An exhibition of photography and mixed media sculpture created by men across North and East Leeds as part of Space2’s Men Through the Lens project. For the last two years, Space2 has worked with men in various groups and settings across North and East Leeds, using photography as a way of exploring personal and shared experiences and being creative. Co-created with artists @tonysnezstephenson and Alice Gilmore, Seacroft Men’s group and men across East and North East Leeds. Our ‘Gathering’ installation celebrates this work and captures the sights, sounds, warmth and welcome of a Space2 men’s group. Men Through the Lens builds on 15 years of Space2 working creatively with marginalised and isolated men in East Leeds and beyond.
