Set in Sheffield, the story follows Billy, a young man navigating student life and family as his grandfather Jack faces dementia. As Jack’s memories slip, the narrative jumps between past and present, memory and reality, with moments from different decades colliding around a living-room piano. This time-shifting structure brings a rich mix of musical styles, from folk to indie and beyond. Funny, moving and uplifting, the show is a love letter to grandparents and the lives they’ve lived.
