Guest Speaker – Fliss Lee, Brand Coach at Honest Folk. A laid-back evening to meet, chat, and connect with other self-employed women.

Join The Fold Network for a relaxed evening of conversation, community, and inspiration.

We bring together self-employed women, freelancers, business owners, and side-hustlers to share ideas, support one another, and build meaningful relationships — the kind that help you grow both personally and professionally.

Whether you’re brand new to The Fold or a regular face, you’ll be welcomed into a friendly, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are.

This Month’s Guest Speaker

Fliss Lee is a brand coach who helps creative freelancers and founders get clear on what makes their business worth choosing, communicate it in a way their customers understand, and build a brand and business that works for them.

What to expect from the workshop with Fliss. Are you making it harder for customers to choose you?

How to create a smoother experience for your customers that builds trust and saves you time.

From someone’s first interaction with your business to what it’s like to buy from you, work with you and what happens afterwards, every part of that experience can build trust and confidence in your brand.

In this workshop, we’ll map out your own customer experience and look at where things could be clearer, easier or more consistent for both you and your customers.

We’ll look at the processes behind that experience too. Where are you doing the same thing from scratch every time? Where are customers having to ask questions, chase or work out what happens next? And where could a simple process, template or system make things run more smoothly?

You’ll leave with something tangible you can put into action, as well as ideas for where else you could improve your experience and save yourself time.

The Fold is a collaborative community for self-employed and freelance women in Leeds.

It's a ready-made support system. A roomful of women in your corner, cheering you on (and picking you up when you fall). Down-to-earth chat about real business and real life and everything in between.

No awkward small talk. No feeling weird about “competitors”. No secret handshakes. And definitely no breakfast meetings.
