The Great Yorkshire Geek Meet is a friendly, relaxed day out for anyone who

enjoys games — or thinks they might.

There's a full day of board gaming with a games library to dip into, beginnerfriendly Dungeons & Dragons taster sessions in their own quiet room, Blood on the

Clocktower, Pokemon and Magic, a Bring & Buy, and independent traders.

Children can paint their very own Yorkshire pudding mascot to take home, free of

charge, and there's mini painting for grown-ups too — plenty of parents end up

painting alongside their kids.

Food and a licensed bar are available all day.

It's family friendly through the daytime, with a proper gaming atmosphere into the

evening. You genuinely don't have to be an expert. If you turn up not knowing

anyone and not knowing how to play, someone will teach you.

Adults and ages 12+ £5. Under-12s free with an accompanying adult. Free

parking, step-free access throughout, and an accessible toilet.
