For Scalarama Film Festival, Lock the Doorz bring you Welsh cult classic TWIN TOWN + Welsh short film FOREST COAL PIT.

As part of the Scalarama Film Festival, Lock the Doorz presents Twin Town (1997) and award winning short by Sion Marshall-Waters 'Forest Coal Pit'. Both films bring a look into local cultural identities of South Wales.

Twin Town is a 1997 Wales based dark comedy crime film, filmed mainly around Port Talbot and set in Swansea, Wales. It stars real-life brothers Rhys Ifans (in his first major movie role) and Llyr Ifans (credited as Llyr Evans) along with Dougray Scott. The director appears on screen, briefly seen as a show host on a TV set in the static caravan home of the twins while co-writer Paul Durden briefly appears as a rude taxi driver.

A vibrant super 8mm portrait of two elderly brothers and the hyperlocal world they live in. Produced by Jessica Wheeler and Ie Ie Productions.
