Welcome to Wax & Wander — the candle making workshop at The Art Studio by The Girly Scene, one of Leeds’ most unique creative spaces right in the heart of LS6.

No experience needed. No pressure. Just show up, grab something from Caffeine Addict — our in-house café — and spend a relaxed, creative session crafting your own beautifully scented candle from scratch. Whether you’re after a different kind of date night in Leeds, a girls’ afternoon out, a solo treat or simply one of the most satisfying activities Leeds has to offer — Wax & Wander is it.

Please note: purchasing a ticket will admit you to a public group booking unless you contact the organiser prior to make it a private booking. Sometimes other people booked on the same day as you will opt for a private booking, which means you may end up with a private experience yourself as the other group members end up in a separate space.

Arrive early and head straight to Caffeine Addict, our in-house café on the ground floor. We serve freshly brewed coffees, teas, cold drinks, sandwiches, soups and salads — all non-alcoholic, all freshly made. The perfect way to gather yourself, meet your group and settle in before the session begins.

∙ Bring a bag to carry your candle home safely

∙ All abilities welcome — our artists are patient, encouraging and genuinely fun

∙ Unfortunately we do not have step free access at this time

👩‍👧 Age Policy:

∙ 16 and over: welcome to attend independently

∙ 13–15: welcome with a parent or responsible adult

∙ Under 13: welcome for private group bookings — contact us to arrange the right session

Tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable. Reschedule requests accepted up to 48 hours before your session.
