Join our Tailored Terrariums Bug Club! We will explore the world of Giant African Land Snails, make them a terrarium and bring one home!

This Bug Club meeting we will explore the world of the Giant African Land Snails - the largest terrestrial snails in the world!

First we will look at the snails close up, talk about their biology and habitat, and learn all about how we can keep this species in captive bioactive enviroments.

Then we will create the perfect habitat for a Giant African Land Snail using Tailored Terrariums specalised vented invertebrate boxes, specalised substrate, plants, natural decor and clean up crew.

Once we have learnt all there is to know about these incredible creatures, and crafted the ideal bioactive home for them, we will each select and take home a baby giant African land snail of our very own.

All resources required for this workshop are included within the full ticket price. Each full ticket holder will go home with a hand made (by you) snail home, care sheet and equipment, and one baby snail. Under 18s may be accompanied by ONE adult person ticket holder.
