NORTHERN SOUL: HALLOWEEN SPECIAL

Deptford Northern Soul Club “Northern Ghoul” Party

Get ready for a Halloween party with soul! Northern Ghoul brings the dance-floor spirit of Deptford Northern Soul Club to a night of spooky decorations, infectious tunes, ice-cold vibes and talcum-powdered dance-floor action. Expect a full-throttle celebration of Northern Soul, rare grooves and feel-good classics, with a ghoulish twist. Fancy dress encouraged, dancing shoes essential.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026, London-based Deptford Northern Soul Club (DNSC) was founded by childhood friends Will Foot and Lewis Henderson at Deptford’s Bunker Club in 2016, inspired by Lewis’ dad’s record collection. Since then, the pair have taken their hugely popular parties across the UK, bringing their infectious energy to festivals including Glastonbury, Green Man and End of the Road, as well as venues such as Tate Modern and Southbank Centre.

For Halloween, they’re turning up the thrills and bringing the party spirit in full force. Think eerie atmosphere, spooky décor, smoke machine and a talcum-powdered floor ready for some serious dancing. Whether you’re a lifelong Northern Soul fan or simply looking for a brilliant Halloween night out, Northern Ghoul promises a packed dance floor, uplifting music and a party that goes well beyond the grave.

Blending the timeless energy of Northern Soul with the excitement of a proper Halloween party, Northern Ghoul is your invitation to dress up, let loose and dance until the witching hour.

“A night of Northern Soul, these two DJs are ‘Undeniably at the forefront of a northern soul revival’” — Vogue
