Sikh Women’s Aid 2026 National Survey Launch Conference

Join Sikh Women’s Aid for the launch of our 2026 National Survey findings, exploring the experiences of Sikh Panjabi women and girls across the UK.

Drawing on the voices of women from across the country, this year's research examines key issues affecting families and relationships within our community, including domestic abuse, child to parent abuse, financial abuse, perpetrators of harm, and the barriers that prevent victims from disclosing and reporting abuse.

The conference will present the survey findings, alongside expert speakers, survivor perspectives, and discussions exploring what these findings mean for policy, practice, safeguarding, and community responses.

Designed for professionals, statutory agencies, academics, community organisations, faith leaders, students, and members of the Sikh Panjabi community, the event will provide an opportunity to learn from the evidence, share best practice, and consider how we can work together to prevent abuse and improve outcomes for women, children, and families.

Attendees will:

Be the first to hear the findings from the Sikh Women’s Aid 2026 National Survey.

Explore emerging themes affecting Sikh Panjabi women and families.

Hear from leading experts and practitioners working across the Violence Against Women and Girls sector.

Understand the implications for safeguarding, commissioning, policy, and frontline practice.

Network with professionals, researchers, community leaders, and organisations committed to ending violence against women and girls.

Together, we can ensure that the voices of Sikh Panjabi women and girls inform the services, policies, and responses that shape their futures.

"So why call her bad? From her, kings are born."
