About This Event

JAM: Primal Body with Kiera Sanderson will take place on 22 October 2026 at The Real Ale Classroom in Leicester. This event provides an open space for dancers, musicians, and artists to practice, share, and collaborate in a supportive environment. Attendance is free.

JAM is an open space for dancers, musicians & artists to practice, share and collaborate in a supportive space.

JAM is a monthly open space for dancers, musicians and creatives to practice, share and get inspired. Led by Kiera & Hari, the space remains flowing and supportive throughout the evening.

This month, dance artist & choreographer Kiera Sanderson leads us through her grounding practice that focuses on animal/primal movement & functional mobility and bodily flow. Our resident musician Hari will provide live music and sound scapes throughout the session.

HOUSE RULES:

All moving participants please remove shoes

No phones/camera/fragile equipment in the moving space with others

If arriving late or mid-JAM, please do so quietly and respectfully as people may be working
