Explore Journeys Festival International as it happens and help shape accessibility through an on-site access review with All-In Leicester.

Join All-In Leicester during Journeys Festival International 2026 to explore the festival as it happens and share your experience of its accessibility.

This on-site access review is a chance to experience parts of the festival programme, move between festival locations and look at how access works in a live festival environment.

We’ll visit Pigeon Tower at LCB Depot and The Balloon Garden at Leicester Cathedral, exploring the installations and the access provision around them. We’ll also consider the journey between locations and what the experience is like for visitors with different access requirements.

Your feedback will help Art Reach identify barriers, consider practical improvements and continue developing the accessibility of Journeys Festival International.

What we'll look at

During the review, we’ll explore:

Accessibility of the interactive art installations

Interpretation and information provided at the installations

How access features are integrated into the visitor experience

Navigation between festival locations

Moving around the festival environment

Access information and communication

Any barriers you encounter and possible improvements

This is a practical, discussion-based review. You don't need any technical or professional knowledge about accessibility — we're interested in your experiences and perspectives.

When and Where

12–2pm, Saturday 24 October 2026

We’ll meet at Gray’s Cafe at LCB Depot, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE.

The festival launch will be finishing around the time we meet, so the area around the café may be busy. If you would prefer a quieter space, the Print Room at LCB Depot will be available until 12pm, with refreshments provided.

From LCB Depot, we’ll travel to the festival locations together. Some walking or wheeling between locations will be involved.

Access information

BSL interpretation will be provided.

Accessible taxis can be arranged for people who need them to travel between locations.

If you need an accessible taxi to and/or from the event, please let us know when completing your booking form so we can arrange this for you.

Refreshments will be available at the start of the session.

A quieter space will be available at LCB Depot before the session.

Who is this for?

This review is for people with lived experience of disability, neurodivergence or other access barriers, as well as friends, family members or supporters of disabled people.

You don't need to have attended an All-In access review before, and no technical experience is required.

Places are limited, so advance booking is required.
