About This Event

The Portage workshops scheduled for 1 October 2026 at Leicestershire County Council in Leicester are designed specifically for providers within the county seeking information about the Portage model. For: Universal - Everyone working or volunteering with children in Leicestershire

Delegates must attend all of the dates listed below:

• Thursday 1st October 2026 from 9.30am - 3.30pm

• Tuesday 6th October 2026 from 9.30am - 3.30pm

Venue - County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 8RA

PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CAR REGISTRATION NUMBER WHERE PROMPTED IN THE FORM IN ORDER FOR US TO BOOK YOU PARKING WITHOUT THE RISK OF BEING TICKETED.

The Portage Workshop is an introduction to the Portage Approach to working with children with additional needs. The workshop is suitable for anyone interested in finding out more about the Portage model. It will provide information and practical ideas about the Portage approach to supporting young children with SEND and will help you to include these children in your provision. The workshop is accredited by the National Portage Association.
