Wild Women will host a community walk at Bradgate Park on 11 October 2026, starting at 10:00. The event is free and aims to encourage women to connect with nature and each other during a two-hour walk.
Come and join us for a beautiful morning at Bradgate Park — fresh air, stunning views, a lovely walk and plenty of Wild Women connection.
Wild Women Walks | Bradgate Park
Wild Women Walks are completely free community walks created to give women a reason to get outside, move, talk, laugh and meet new people.
Come alone or come with someone — you’ll be warmly welcomed either way.
This time we’re heading to beautiful Bradgate Park — one of Leicestershire’s most loved outdoor spaces, with open parkland, ancient trees, rocky landscapes and, of course, its famous red and fallow deer.
This one will have a little more variety underfoot than our gentler Hicks Lodge walk. Expect a mixture of paths, grass and uneven ground, with some inclines along the way as we explore the park and take in those gorgeous views.
We’ll be walking for around 2 hours at a relaxed, social pace. This isn’t about racing to the front or being the fittest person in the group — we’ll take our time, regroup when needed and enjoy being outside together.
Bradgate’s natural terrain can be uneven and weather affected, so please wear comfortable walking shoes or boots with good grip and bring clothing suitable for the weather.
And because it wouldn’t be a Wild Women Walk without it now…
Anyone who fancies staying afterwards is very welcome to join us for a drink, something yummy and a good old natter.
Come alone. Leave with friends.
