Back by popular demand! Northern Soul at the BBC Proms vocal star Darrell Smith and the Soul Brothers Syndicate live at Lichfield Cathedral

Back by popular demand Northern Soul at the BBC Proms vocal star Darrell Smith plus special guest will be performing on Friday 9th April 2027.

In the beautiful setting of Lichfield Cathedral.

The Soul Brothers Syndicate bring to you a breathtaking live show with their 16-piece Northern Soul Orchestra playing less tribute and more homage to the music known as Northern Soul.

The band bring their own unique spirit and spontaneous humour to every concert. The show is narrated in a timeline style, going from Northern Soul’s humble beginnings at the twisted wheel (Manchester) and Golden Torch (Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent), to the Blackpool Mecca and the world-famous Wigan Casino!

We released our debut single The Drifter in November 2024 which charted to no.1 in the R&B iTunes downloads, and no.8 in the UK vinyl charts!

Track list includes:

The Drifter,

The Night, I’m on my way,

There’s a Ghost in my House, Run For Cover,

Temptation is Calling my Name, The Snake,

If That’s What You Wanted

Dance, Dance, Dance,

Open the Door to your Heart, and many more.
