About This Event

Local Vocals is a vibrant, community-driven choir that brings people together through the joy of singing. Open to all experience levels, we believe that music has the power to connect, inspire, and uplift. Singing also has huge health benefits for both the body and the mind including: Boosts Lung Health; Supports Heart Health; Strengthens Immunity Reduces Stress & Anxiety; Improves Mood & Mental Health; Enhances Cognitive Brain Function; Improves Memory. Builds Confidence; Creates Friendships and Social Wellbeing. Our repertoire spans a wide range of genres, from contemporary pop and classic rock to gospel, folk, sacred and musical theatre. We like to create beautiful harmonies while fostering a fun and supportive atmosphere where everyone feels valued. There are no auditions, just a willingness to sing your heart out! We perform at community events, concerts, and charity fundraisers, spreading joy and music wherever we go. Our rehearsals are filled with energy, laughter, and camaraderie and we never take ourselves too seriously! Whether you’re a seasoned vocalist or just love to sing for fun, our welcoming and inclusive environment is the perfect place to find your voice. Do come and join us, it will be great to see you!
