The Irish Farmers Journal are delighted to announce the return of Dairy Day for 2026. Taking place in UL Sports Arena on 14 November.

Dairy Day 2026: Shaping Our Future

Supported by Bord Bia, Ornua and Alltech.

All roads will lead to the UL Arena at Limerick again this year for the premier indoor dairy event being held this year on Saturday 14 November.

Combining a mix of trade stands showcasing the best new products and technology for farmers alongside two stages with world class speakers and discussion, it is a day not to be missed for farmers, industry representatives and exhibitors alike.

Parking is not a problem with thousands of car parking spaces surrounding UL Arena, which is located at the University of Limerick campus, located just one hour from the towns of Listowel in Co. Kerry, Fermoy in Co. Cork, Portlaoise in Co. Laois and Athenry in Co. Galway.

The theme of this years’ event is all about shaping our future.

After a difficult year of falling milk prices and a widespread summer drought, reduced profit margins from dairy farming in 2026 will be an important moment to reset.

Farmers are seeking guidance on which investments will simplify workload and reduce farm running costs. Dairy Day 2026 will help identify opportunities for investing at the farm gate that will benefit the farm business in the long term.

After the high profits achieved in 2025, 2026 serves to remind us that farming is volatile by nature and the future outlook for milk prices and processing sector will be discussed at length. This will help to inform farmers so they can prepare for the future.

As always, Dairy Day will brings an international perspective to an Irish audience and we are pleased to announce that we will be bringing speakers from across the globe to Dairy Day 2026 to share their views and knowledge of the farming scene globally.
