About This Event

This upcoming collaboration between Mental Health Ireland and GOSHH will take place at Limerick City Library on 15 October 2026. The workshop explores themes of connection and belonging through a series of sessions led by various speakers. Entry to the event is free for attendees interested in mental wellbeing.

Join us for this collaborative workshop with Mental Health Ireland and GOSHH.

The first part of the workshop Cillian Keane from Mental Health Ireland will explore the Five Ways to Wellbeing (Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give).

In the second part and building on from the Five Ways to Wellbeing, GOSHH will explore what minding our mental health can look like from an LGBTQ+ perspective.

We’ll have a relaxed conversation about connection, community, identity, belonging and looking after ourselves. We’ll look at the Five Ways to Wellbeing through an LGBTQ+ lens, exploring some of the experiences that can impact LGBTQ+ wellbeing, as well as the people, places and communities that can help us feel supported and connected.

Together, we’ll explore practical ways to support our mental health, build connection and create more space to be ourselves.
