Experience the Majesty of the Organ This Autumn

Beginning in September, we are pleased to present an exceptional series of organ recitals, featuring some of the UK’s finest organists performing on the celebrated Father Willis organ.

This season promises a rich and varied repertoire, brought to life through the skill and artistry of our guest performers. Thanks to live video screens, audiences will enjoy a unique perspective from the organ loft — a rare opportunity to witness the intricacies of each performance.

Following the recitals, there will be an opportunity to meet the organists and learn more about their craft.

22 September - Jeffrey Makinson, Organist & Assistant Director of Music, Lincoln Cathedral

Performing music by Buxtehude, Mendelssohn, Eben and Durufle

29 September - James Gough, Director of Music, St. John the Evangelist, Upper Norwood, London

Performing music by J.S Bach, Franck, Bridge and Durufle.

6 October - Philip Rushforth, Organist & Master of the Choristers, Chester Cathedral

Performing works by Alcock, Bowen, Hollins and Roger-Ducasse

13 October - David Pipe, Organsit, Huddersfield Town Hall

Performing works by Franck, Gullmant, Fleury and Vierne

20 October - Organ Extravaganza!, Lincoln Cathedral Organists and Lincoln Cathedral Choir

Including J.S. Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, Widor's Toccata and choral favourites.

27 October - Daniel Cook, Organist & Master of the Choristers, Durham Cathedral

Performing works by J.S. Bach, Whitlock and Reubke
