The Lincolnshire Society of Architects and Custodia Continuity are offering insight into agentic AI for architecture businesses at Simons Design Ltd on Weaver Road, Lincoln, on 8 December 2026.
Lincolnshire Society of Architects in collaboration with Custodia Continuity is offering insight into how your technology fits together
Depending on who you ask, AI will either double your productivity or hand your client list to a stranger. The reality is a bit duller and a lot more useful, this interactive session delivered by Custodia Continuity (https://www.custodiauk.com/), and sponsored by Simons Design (https://www.simons-design.co.uk/) will give you an insight into the truth of the matter.
This workshop is about how your technology fits together. Light, festive refreshments are included.
You don’t need to write code. You do need to make decisions about AI tools your staff are probably already using, and those decisions need to still look sensible in a year’s time. We’ll start with where AI helps a business grow: drafting, analysis, customer service and the small custom tools that used to need a developer and a big budget. Then we’ll cover security in plain English, so you know what you’re agreeing to when someone signs up for a free AI account and starts feeding it company data. The part you should care about most is sovereignty. If your business runs on one overseas AI provider, their pricing and terms of service are now part of your business plan whether you like it or not. We’ll show you how to set things up so your data and your tools stay yours, and so changing supplier is an inconvenience rather than a crisis.
You’ll leave with a clear view of which AI tools are worth paying for and which are hype with a monthly subscription, simple rules for staff on what can and can’t go into an AI tool, a practical starting point for building your own small tools and knowing when to hire a software engineer, an honest picture of the risks, sized for your business. We promise no slides full of shiny robots and nobody will ask you to “embrace the future”, there will be no acronyms and no snake oil.
