About This Event

The Liverpool Parish Church will welcome Orchestra dell’Arte on Saturday 10 October 2026 at 7:30pm for an evening of nineteenth-century masterworks. The programme pairs Mozart’s Piano Concerto No 23, its lyrical melodies unfolding with quiet grace, with Beethoven’s Symphony No 2, a work of buoyant energy and unexpected warmth. Beneath the church’s high stone arches, the music fills the space with a blend of intimacy and grandeur, offering a listening experience that feels both personal and expansive. Tickets for the concert are priced at £22.38.

Highlights of this lovely concert are Mozart Piano Concerto No 23, an Interval drink and Beethoven’s optimistic and cheerful Symphony No 2.

A new venue for Orchestra dell'Arte, Liverpool Parish Church (Our Lady and St Nicholas), is perfect for this Chamber Orchestra programme.

After the bubbling Overture in the Italian Style by Schubert, star pianist, Lauryna Sableviciute will be our soloist for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No 23 in A major. After a free Interval glass of wine, you will probably recognise Boyce’s short and happy Symphony No 4, a regular choice by listeners to ClassicFM radio .

The main work in the programme is Beethoven’s optimistic and cheerful Symphony No 2: always a delight to hear this symphony with a vision of future masterpieces to come.
