About This Event

This four-day guided walking holiday along the Anglesey Coastal Path offers participants a range of culinary experiences to complement their physical exertion. The included meals are part of the fully-guided experience and feature locally sourced ingredients, ensuring that each meal is not only nourishing but also reflective of the area’s rich gastronomic heritage. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to enjoy a communal hot tub base camp where they can relax after an active day exploring the picturesque coastline.

Waking up just 500 metres from the sea in Aberffraw, the sound of soft waves in the distance and the salty breeze drifting through your window. You step outside with your morning brew, stretch, and take in the golden early light - looking fofward to the sectio nof the trail you're walking that day.

This is a walking holiday with soul! Clifftops, wild beaches, moonlit swims, ancient history, long shared dinners, and evenings sinking into a hot tub under the stars or curling up by the fire with tired legs and happy hearts.

DAILY DISTANCES AND ELEVATION:

Day 2 – Holyhead → Rhoscolyn: 26 km, 410m ascent & 410m descent

Day 3 – Rhoscolyn → Aberffraw: 30 km, 130m ascent & 120m descent

Day 4 – Aberffraw → Dwyran: 22 km, 110m ascent & 110m descent

Day 5 – Dwyran → Beaumaris: 29 km, 280m ascent & 280m descent

FULL ITINERARY

Day 1 – Arrival, Full Moon, Beach Walk & Moonlit Dip

Arrive in Aberffraw, settle into the house, and take a sunset stroll to the beach for a magical Sturgeon Moon swim (optional).Pizza night at the house - relaxed, cosy, and the perfect start.

Day 2 – Holyhead to Rhoscolyn - Distance: 26 km | Ascent/Descent: 410m / 410m

We begin the day at St Cybi’s Church in Holyhead - a beautiful Grade I-listed site steeped in early Welsh history. From here, the path leads us out toward the coast as the views slowly widen, the sea breeze picks up, and the drama of the northern cliffs unfolds in front of us.

Soon we’re looking down over the rugged coastline towards Holyhead Breakwater Country Park, an atmospheric landscape shaped by quarrying and sea weather. The trail climbs gradually toward Holyhead Mountain, the highest point on Anglesey, offering sweeping views across the island and out toward the Irish Sea.
