Join Ann Winsper for a fascinating workshop exploring the mysterious phenomenon known as the Bold Street Time Slips.

Liverpool's Bold Street has become famous internationally for reports of people suddenly appearing to be transported into the past. Witnesses have described finding themselves in an earlier version of the street, encountering old-fashioned shops, vehicles and fashions before abruptly returning to the present.

There are many theories as to why this happens, but the phenomenon continues to intrigue researchers and visitors alike. These strange and unsettling experiences will be explored and visited.

Ann has enjoyed a long and varied career in television, performing alongside big stars, as well as in academia, specialising in parapsychology and the exploration of unusual experiences. Her work combines rigorous investigation with an interest in lived experience, opening up questions about consciousness, memory, place and perception.

During this workshop, Ann will share the history of the Bold Street time-slip stories, examine possible explanations, and invite discussion about the nature of reality, memory and anomalous experiences.
