Born on a British military base and raised in a military family, combined with his chaotic time serving in the Duke of Lancasters Infantry Regiment, Dean grew up in a world built on discipline, structure, and survival. Only to be released into the civilian Serengeti unsupervised and ruined by freedom.

Deployed & Unsupervised is a dark, self deprecating & brutally honest hour of stand-up that takes you through absurd military life — how military is supposed to work, how it really doesn’t — and into the chaos that follows.

From PTSD-fuelled moments after service to searching for purpose and identity as a northern working-class man, this is the reality of trying to live normally after years preparing for conflict… and failing in the funniest ways possible.

The evening is a special charity event supporting ex-military personnel after service, with all proceeds going towards helping those who have served as they navigate life beyond the forces.
