About the venue: A Mediterranean bar and grill rated 4.4 from around 220 reviews, mid-priced, open 11:30am to midnight every day — so timing is completely unconstrained, unusual among the UK venues. Reviewers describe it handling large groups well, with live singers on some evenings, and repeatedly mention the room being busy and sociable.

Getting there: James Street station is a three-minute walk, on the Merseyrail Wirral line, and Liverpool Lime Street is around ten minutes on foot for mainline services. The venue sits in the business district close to the Royal Albert Dock and Liverpool ONE, both walkable. City-centre car parks are nearby, though the streets around Water Street are largely permit-controlled.
