Inspired by Brazilian rhythms this playful and interactive experience is all about discovering the joy of rhythm, expressing yourself and connecting through music.

No musical experience needed. Just bring your energy, curiosity and enthusiasm!

🥁 What to expect

✨ Get drumming! Every child gets their own drum to explore exciting rhythms, beats and grooves.

💃🏽 Move to the rhythm! Enjoy fun, playful body percussion &movement activities that bring the music to life.

❤️ Make music together! Experience the joy of playing as a group, listening, connecting and creating something together.

🌈 Fun for the whole family! A chance for children and their grown-ups to share a creative experience, try something new and make some brilliant memories.

Whether you're a complete beginner or already love making music, everyone is welcome!

🎃 Fancy dress encouraged!

It's Halloween week, so why not add a little extra colour and fun to the occasion? 👻✨

Fancy dress is very welcome and encouraged! Whether it's your favourite character, a colourful costume or something wonderfully spooky, we'd love to see your creativity!

Just make sure your outfit is comfortable enough for moving around and playing the drums.

And if costumes aren't your thing, that's absolutely fine too. Come as you are and join the fun!

💛 Good to know

Every child gets their own drum, and all equipment is provided.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult who stays throughout the workshop. This is a family activity, not a drop-off session.

One adult can accompany one or two children. For three or more children, we recommend bringing another adult.

No previous drumming or musical experience is needed.

Drumming can be loud, so we recommend bringing ear defenders or suitable hearing protection, particularly for younger children or anyone sensitive to sound.

Wear comfortable clothes (or fancy dress!) that allow you to move freely, and bring some water.

Tickets are non-refundable, except where required by law.

🔥 Come and experience the Katumba energy!

At Katumba, we believe rhythm and movement are for everybody!

Our workshops are about more than learning beats. They're about building confidence, expressing yourself, connecting with others and experiencing the joy of making music together.

Whether you're coming for the drumming, the movement, the Halloween fun or simply some quality family time, you're in for a joyful afternoon!

Bring your family, bring your energy and let's make some noise together! 🥁🎃❤️
