Exciting news for book lovers as Liverpool Book Festival returns with a summer special at BoxPark in Liverpool on Sunday 2nd August 2026! With a few tweaks and improvements from organisers La Vida Liverpool, this third event is set to be even better than the previous two -- with more going on and fantastic value for money!

Over 60 Authors & Special Guests

Once again, the festival will feature over 60 authors -- with lots of new ones to mix things up. Spanning various genres and featuring some incredible independent and bestselling authors, as well as some publishers, it's an opportunity to meet them and buy their books directly. Some familiar faces will be selling their books, including:

Tickets to this next Liverpool Book Festival are set at a standard £15 and access all areas, meaning that everyone will have access to the talks in the BeatBox conference room throughout the day (please note that these are first come first served with 100 seats). Tickets for Liverpool Book Festival are very straightforward this time around -- a set £15 with access all areas and free tickets for Under 12s. As with all Liverpool Book Festival events, a percentage of ticket sales will be donated to two selected charities and this time around it's Reverse North West domestic violence charity and Mersey Mind men's mental health charity.

Liverpool Book Festival continues to go from strength to strength -- having received coverage from BBC News and finishing 3rd at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards for Event/Festival Of The Year. This summer special on Sunday 2nd August is set to be another extravaganza -- with over 1,000 people expected through the doors once again.
