People Planet Pint is your local sustainability meetup - no pitches, no presentations, no panels.

Just like-minded people talking about the planet over a pint (or two).

You don't need to be a sustainability professional. You don't need to know what "Scope 3" means (most people don't!).

If you’re curious about what’s going on locally and feel that a better future is possible - come along to meet others like you and chat about what’s going on locally, how to get involved and what solutions are out there.

Come for conversations with real people - it’s a space to swap ideas, find opportunities, get things off your chest or just sit back and listen. You'll leave with practical ways to get involved and leave a lot more optimistic about the future!

Your Volunteer Hosts

Louisa Burman is an Impact Consulting who supports purpose-driven businesses and third sector organisations to better understand and improve their impact. She specialises in playful facilitation techniques to enable teams and key stakeholders to explore creative and innovative ideas / solutions together, particularly through the use of LEGO® Serious Play® methodology.

Louisa is also the founder of Liverpool SOUP, a local micro-funding event, and regularly volunteers with Liverpool Tool Library.

Fiona Shaw runs publishing and communications agency Wordscape, which publishes good business magazine Ethos. She works with businesses to tell their stories, articulate their purpose and increase their impact – through books, magazines, words and film. She recently finished a Masters in responsible business management at Berlin’s Steinbeis University and sits on the board of several social businesses in Liverpool.

Fiona chairs Baltic Triangle Area CIC, which supports the community of businesses, residents and visitors to the area, and is co-hosting this People, Planet, Pint.

Greg Macoy is a strategist, designer, and facilitator dedicated to designing better futures for ethical organisations. As the Founder of Hunter & Campbell, a strategic creative studio, he helps purpose-led brands scale their impact through design-led thinking.

Greg serves as Co-chair of B Local Liverpool, where he advocates for B Corp values and supports the growth of certified businesses across the city region. Alongside Fiona Shaw and Louisa Burman, he co-founded Social Liverpool and co-hosts People Planet Pint, creating accessible spaces for changemakers to connect, collaborate, and drive collective action.
