Michele is a teenager living in Italy. One day, he travels to a small village in the Carpathian Mountains, where he meets his grandfather. Their first encounter doesn’t go smoothly: they belong to different generations, come from different cultures and don’t even speak the same language.

Gradually, grandfather and grandson begin to understand each other and find common ground. Warm and humorous, the film tells a moving story about family bonds, understanding and the meaning of family.
